[glow=red,2,300]Hello, my (character's) name is Ellie Thompson, and I just joined today. So I saw the character bio link, and no thread had been started yet, so I figured I'd go ahead and start one. ;D So, now, Introducing....![/glow]
Name: Ellie Thompson
Age: 15 Year: 5th
Family: Pureblood; Mom & Dad: Randy and Julianna Thompson
Twin brothers: Matt & Quinn, 18 years old
History: Ellie was born on July 16, 1991. She grew up without any sisters, but with two older twin brothers, Matt and Quinn. Just like her brothers, she was home schooled until she received her letter of acceptance on her 11th birthday. Ellie’s family is not rich, but they are well-off enough to provide some luxuries, such as Ellie’s out of date, but in good condition Nimbus 1000 broom.
Physical Appearance: Slim, and with a hint of muscles from many years of playing quidditch. Smooth, tan skin, long dark, brown/black wavy hair, that curls, waves and twists naturally down to waist, brown eyes. Her out of class clothing style is typically stuff like her soft, stretchy, light blue running pants with matching top, a couple of pairs of slightly faded tight flare jeans, crew shirts, tank-tops or hand-me-downs from her older brothers, including some khaki colored cargo shorts/pants, and some wizarding band t-shirts.
F
Personality: Ellie is a free-spirited girl, and is adventurous. She is outgoing and easygoing too. Ellie is always loyal to her friends, no matter what. She doesn't really care what others think of her, in terms of being weird or what ever. She has her own sense of style, follows her own path according to her decisions, rather than just basing decisions on what is “in” and etc. Ellie loves quidditch and is a bit of a tomboy, yet all the same enjoys putting on makeup, discussing boys, and being a bit of a girly-girl too. Ellie has always loved to have a good time and good laugh, and even pull a few pranks, thus sometimes being a class clown, yet she is dedicated to her schoolwork and enjoys learning. In spite of all this, Ellie can often shy at first with people she has met, yet once they get to know her, she just loves to have a good time.
D
Strengths: Flying, Charms, DADA, & Transfiguration
Weaknesses: History of Magic, Astronomy, Care of Magical Creatures, potions,
Wand: Red Cedar & Oak - 12 ¼ inches
Essence of Phoenix Feather Enchantment
Pet: 1 grey tabby cat, named Oran Broomstick: Nimbus 1000S
Example of Roleplay:
Ellie sighed contentedly, as she sank down into the soft mattress. Her arms, legs, and back ached slightly from the strain of playing quidditch in the cold wintery weather, complete with a frosty breeze. True enough, it hadn't really been snowing the entire game--it was actually just snow flurries that came down. It was the wind, and then the wind whipping the flurries around and reducing visibility that created all that strain. And then, when she finally spotted the snitch struggling against the wind above the Hufflepuff goal posts, she herself had to struggle against the elements to reach the golden speck. Upon reaching it, she grabbed it, and won the match against Hufflepuff for her team. It had been such a great feeling to feel that freezing gold ball safe in the palm of her hand, and knowing that the quidditch cup was theirs! This was one of the best nights of her lives. She shifted her weight a bit and finally got comfortable. The house elves, God bless them, had put one of their spells on all of the beds in the dormitories, charming them so they stayed nice and warm, and cozy, throughout the entire wintry night. She allowed herself one more contented sigh, snuggling down under the comfy covers for another minute before propping herself up on her elbows to reach over to her night stand and pull out a sheaf of blank parchments, and a Self-Inking Quill her brother had given her for her 11th birthday, knowing from experience that their mom would expect no less than 3 letters a week, and that Ellie's only chance to write would be once she got settled in bed at night, thus the convenience of a Self-Inking Quill was eliminating the messy risk of an ink spill on her bed. She stopped, and glancing out the window, decided that the letter to her mom could wait until tomorrow. Until then...well, she was just going to relive the victorious events of that night, she thought, as she drifted off into a deep sleep.
